The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business has created a scholarship
for nonprofit leaders interested in the the Executive MBA program (offered every other year...the 2002-2003 year would be the
next opportunity). This is available to anyone
who works anywhere in the state of Wisconsin. The program is for
middle and upper-level manager with at least 8 to 10 years of work
experience. The applicant should be employed full-time with a
not-for-profit Wisconsin organization that is designated as a
501(c)(3).The program costs $21,000 per
year, which includes tuition, textbooks, meals, parking, and scheduled
events. The scholarship would cover 75% of the costs for each of the
two years of the program.

Lafollette
Institute School of Public Affairs - The La Follette School engages in
research and outreach activities designed to assist public officials at
all levels of government. At the present time, they also offer a course
titled,

public sectors will be interested in the web-based educational
programs developed by the
University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Continuing Studies,

Nonprofit Administration Certificate Program offered by the University
of Wisconsin - Superior, Center for Continuing Education/Extension

The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee has recently
created a concentration in nonprofit management within its MPA
Program (The degree is presented jointly by the College of Letters
and Science and the School of Business Administration). Please also
check out the Helen
Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management. The Institute was
recently formed to begin providing learning opportunities in nonprofit
management through graduate-level degree and certificate programs, and
continuing education offerings.

Cooperative
Extension, University of Wisconsin Extension - University of
Wisconsin-Extension is a unique partnership of counties, the U.S.
Department of Agriculture and the University of Wisconsin working together
to help people put knowledge to work. It reflects the vision that has
become known as The Wisconsin Idea. This partnership supports
educational programs for farmers, businesses, organizations, communities,
families and young people. UW-Extension uses education to help people
understand and solve problems. Educational programs developed and
conducted by county-based educators reflect local concerns. Videotape
presentation kits of all of the educational programs produced by the
Learning Institute for Nonprofit Organizations collaboration have been
sent to most county
Extension offices in Wisconsin.
