Council Objectives:
|
- To promote the efficient production and utilization of forage crops in Fond du Lac
County.
- To promote the greater use of forage crops within the Fond du Lac County agricultural
base.
- To create an awareness of the benefits for utilizing forage crops in cropping and
livestock systems. These benefits include the conservation of our soil and energy
resources in Fond du Lac County.
- To financially support local forage production field research and demonstration
projects.
- To identify local educational needs regarding the profitable use of forage crops.
- To address local educational needs through forage management meetings, field days,
workshops, newsletters, and other media sources.
- To recognize outstanding forage producers, educators, and agribusinesses within Fond du
Lac County.
- To act as an information link between the county and
Midwest Forage Association
