Family Portraits: Diverse Families in Changing Communities
November 4-5, 2009
Stevens Point, WI

Dear Family Living Colleagues,

Mark your calendars for November 4-5, 2009. We will meet to learn, network, and celebrate our work with families.

Our theme is Family Portraits: Diverse Families in Changing Environments. Together we will browse through snapshots of effective programs having an impact on the significant challenges faced by families throughout the state. We will also enhance our professional skills and scholarship needed as we work with the changing demographics of Wisconsin’s families.

Special thanks to the planning committee for our conference – Shelley King-Curry (chair), Gay Eastman, Karen Fritz, Marilyn Herman, Mary Huser, Julie Keown-Bomar, Darlene Kramer, Joan Lefebvre, Rosamaria Martinez, Cristina Parente, Jennifer Park-Mroch, Bonnie Rieder, Julia Salomon, Elaine Seitz, and special committee volunteers: Elaine Barrett, Kshinté Brathwaite, Nancy Brooks, Gayle Coleman, Teresa Curtis, Michele Dickinson, Sue Erickson, Angie Flickinger, Meg Gores, Ann Keim, and Bev Phillips.

I look forward to seeing you in Stevens Point, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center. You are a vital part of our Family Living Programs’ album of colleagues, making a difference with Wisconsin families and their communities.

Sincerely,

Laurie Boyce, Ph.D.
