Wisconsin 4-H & Youth Conference

Promotional Video (wmv file - 16,257 KB) -- A "youthful" look at the 2007 youth conference.
Approximately
700 youth attend this educational event in Madison each summer.
Participants take part in educational seminars and assemblies
and meet people from across Wisconsin. They are encouraged to
take what they learn and share it with others in their home
community.
Qualifications:
- Be in 7th-10th grade at the time of selection. (Art Team,
Drama Company, Press Team, Showcase Singers and
Youth Leader Council members may be 9th-13th grade);
- be a 4-H member or member of another Extension program;
- carry county approval through time of award trip.
Costs:
- The registration cost for 2011 Wisconsin 4 H & Youth Conference
is $210.
- Some counties offer local sponsorships.
UPDATES FOR 2011 AS OF 5-27-11
- Due to much construction and several closed or restricted streets around the conference site, the suggested approach is entering Madison from Hwy 12-18, taking the e Park St. North Exit, and turning right (east) onto Dayton Street to enter the Sellery Hall parking lot on the left for drop-off and pick-up. Note that Lake St. is closed between Dayton and Johnson St. and restricted to 1 northbound lane between Johnson and Langdon St.
- The telephone number for conference Headquarters has been changed to 608-262-7786. The number listed in the published handbooks is no longer correct. Please notify your county delegation members and their families of the new number.
