Helpful Information on Publication Types

In the "Type" column you'll find everything from one-page 4-H record book forms to multi-page project guides. In most cases the type of publication is clear. Here are some that are not so obvious:

• Activity Plan: Lesson plan for a hands-on activity.
• Guide: Comprehensive resource with a mix of subject-matter content and hands-on activities on a project.
• Handbook: Manual with guidelines on how to do something, e.g., be a club treasurer or train your dog.
• Introduction: Short, basic guide on how to get started in a project.
