4-H Projects help kids...Luv 2 Learn!

Why 4-H’ers Luv 2 Learn
• Kids have an interest and want to have fun while they learn.
• 4-H projects provide just the right mix of hands on learning with the support of caring adults.
• Youth master life skills, improve their grades and get engaged in life long learning!

Benefits to kids
4-H projects help youth
• experience MASTERY,
• develop INDEPENDENCE,
• feel a sense of BELONGING
• and practice GENEROSITY.

Past funding efforts
Supported development of over 100 4-H activity plans, teaching kits and local training.

How funds will be used
The Wisconsin 4-H Learning Resources Team will help others:
• Create new 4-H learning resources to expand 4-H projects to diverse audiences
• Develop training resources and adapt emerging technology to support staff and 4-H project leaders.

How you can help
• If you’re in 4-H, ask your 4-H club or county 4-H program to make a contribution to support your 4-H project leaders.
• 4-H staff can use their automatic paycheck withdrawal option.
• Business and civic groups can provide scholarships for kids who can’t afford to participate.

How to contribute
You can make a tax-deductible contribution by writing a check to the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, noting use for 4-H Learning Resources and sending it to the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, 428 Lowell Hall, 610 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53703.

You can also contribute online through the University of Wisconsin Foundation Web Site. Under "Designation," you'll need to select "UW-Extension - 4-H Foundation." Where it asks, "If you would like to further restrict your gift to a specific department or program," write in "Wisconsin 4-H Learning Resource Fund."4-H Foundation Logo
