Leadership Impact of Long-term Program Involvement

2006 AMBASSADOR EVALUATION

You have participated in the 4-H Ambassador program for at least one year.  The goals and objectives for the Ambassadors involved in these programs include:  Accept responsibility; Participate in planning, creating, and follow through; and Increase your leadership skills in organizing, public speaking, small group facilitating, and teamwork.  This evaluation is to check your thoughts on the Ambassador program and your development and use of these skills.

Activity Data

Gathering information about activities and roles helps you to describe actual participation. It opens analytical possibilities, for example, you could separate the impact results from those who took certain roles.

Outcomes

Respondents are comparing their skills after the program to their memory of their skill level before the experience. This ensures that participants are thinking about the questions consistently given what they have learned during the program.
