Dairy Projects - 4-H Youth Development UW-Extension

Crowley Memorial Dairy Leadership Award

The recognition is named in honor and memory of James W. Crowley, longtime Extension dairy specialist and strong supporter of dairy youth project work.

High schoolers in grades 10 through 12 and enrolled in the 4-H dairy project are invited to apply for the James W. Crowley 4-H Dairy Leadership Awards. The deadline for applications or nominations for the 15 awards is July 15. Winners receive plaques and partial scholarships to attend the National 4-H Dairy Conference in September. The top two candidates will each receive $500 awards for continuing their dairy education. The James W. Crowley Dairy Management and Extension Fund sponsor this 4-H dairy award program.

Finalists will be interviewed at the Wisconsin State Fair.
