Rural Mutual Insurance Company Becomes a Silver Clover Level State 4-H Sponsor

The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation recently welcomed Rural Mutual Insurance Company as the first Silver Clover Level ($5,000) State 4-H Sponsor.  For over thirty years Rural Mutual Insurance’s support for the Wisconsin 4-H has benefited nearly 100,000 4-H youth annually who participate in 4-H activities across the state.  Rural Mutual Insurance has played an important role in sponsoring the 4-H Mechanical Sciences Contests, including the 4-H Tractor program which they have supported since 1970.  They have also co-sponsored the Wisconsin 4-H Key Award Program for over three decades.

Rural Mutual Insurance is a Wisconsin-based company which provides insurance products to families, local businesses, towns, and municipalities.  They take pride in their rural values which emphasize a personal and local connection with their customers.  Their partnership with the Wisconsin 4-H they shows their commitment to improving the communities of their customers.      

The Wisconsin State 4-H Sponsor Program launched in the spring of 2007.  It was developed by the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation board in order to provide 4-H supporters with an array of new choices to financially support all the young people who are involved in 4-H throughout Wisconsin.  All of the State 4-H Sponsors are listed at the major Wisconsin 4-H events throughout the year, in addition to receiving other recognition depending on their sponsorship level. Corporations, organizations, or individuals are invited to become State 4-H Sponsors.
