Getting Extension Professionals and Volunteers on the Same Page: The Extensin Staff and Volunteer Connection

Dr. Jim Rutledge is known for his work on the professional development stages of the Extension professional. The purpose of this material is to help Extension professionals think about how THEIR professional development stages influence their capacity to reach larger audiences with more valuable educational programs.  This material assumes that as we improve our understanding of our own professional development we will improve our ability to create positive relationships with volunteers, clientele, collaborators and peers and this will allow us to increase our capacity to reach both professional and organizational goals.  The ultimate goal of these materials is to increase the capacity of the entire Extension system. We are pleased to have Dr. Rutledge share his work on this web site.
