Research Instruments

• Illinois Positive Youth Development Assessment Tools This site hosts 3 assessement/evaulation tools and 2 scoresheets used for evaluation of adults and youth in implementing the essential elements of postive youth development. The tools are for adults, youth and 4-H adult cloverbud leaders. The site also hosts 8 fact sheets that are helpful to clubs and other audiences. Club PYD Lesson Plans are also helpful. These tools were developed by Illinios.
• LINK COMING> The second research tools are the leadership development inventories that we have for organizational, project, and Cloverbud leaders. We use the inventories to determine training needs and a training plan for the counties.
• Iowa Volunteer Training Study (2 pages, 256 KB) This survey was used in the summer of 2007, sent to volunteers who have been volunteers for 2 years. Feedback is requested regarding topics they wish they had been trained on as brand new volunteers.
• 07 NCR Volunteer Forum Youth Adult Partnership Survey Instruments(56 KB, 6 pages) Wisconsin hosted the 2007 North Central Region Volunteer Forum. It was planned, implemented and evaluated as a youth adult partnership. Sue Pleskac, Volunteer Specialist and Kandi O'Neil, 4-H Youth Development Educator took leadership for this on-line and follow up focus group study of the youth and adults that were members of the planning committee.
• NCR VolunteerRegional Report Survey Appendix 2 (4 pages, 42 KB) This is the survey instrument used in 2008 by the North Central Region Volunteer Specialists for the Volunteer Contributions Study. The survey was administered by email. More details are in the report.
