  • The Wisconsin SOMK Team worked with over sixty military youth at National Guard Family Weekend March 14-16 in LaCrosse.

  • The Wisconsin OMK Team met by phone conference on February 11. This meeting was dedicated to planning the National Guard Family Weekend Activities, our OMK face to face meeting, and the Speak Out For Military Kids Training.

  • Laura Pettersen, Mary Day and Laura Moriarity shared information about Operation Military Kids with school board members from across the state at the Wisconsin School Board Association Convention in Milwaukee on January 23-25, 2008.

  • The Grant County 4-H SOMK Team conducted deployment activities with youth at Wisconsin Joint Forces Headquarters in Madison on December 15, 2007.

  • The 100th Division 334ths Army Reserve Unit Family Readiness Group meeting was held in Sparta, WI, December 1st. The group is preparing for deployment in the next few months.
