Milwaukee - Westside Academy

Youth with staffWestside Academy II, UWEX CYFAR, and Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Milwaukee have formed three project groups within this community. Science Club youth ages 10 to 13 have been involved in learning how all of life is science. CYFAR has also provided the 8th grade group with the opportunity of working on staying in school and becoming successful. Plus the 7th grade home base program is working on improving their local community through science. These programs, which presently reach around 50 youth, will only continue to evolve and expand as the partners work together to empower the youth and their families.
