~Ashland County Summer 2011~

The city of Ashland sits along the northwestern shoreline of beautiful Lake Superior  and is home to an estimated 8,600 people. Ashland County has a strong sense of community and family as well as a reasonable cost of living. Due to proximity of Lake Superior, the Chequamegon National Forest, and the Apostle Island National Lakeshore, Ashland offers a wide variety of outdoor activities.
