  • Wisconsin Operation Military Kids (OMK) is a nationwide initiative designated to provide support to the children and youth of families that are impacted by the Global War on Terrorism. This includes those served by Army installations, Air Force bases, and those children and youth who are geographically dispersed.

Educational Scholarships and Awards

  • Wisconsin 4-H Key Award - Recognizes 4-H youth with consistent growth in leadership skills. Contact your County 4-H Youth Development staff member for information.

Youth Leadership and 4-H Club Officers

  • Wisconsin 4-H Youth Leader Council (YLC) - Learn about what the YLC is doing and how you can be part of the state youth leadership group. Participation is by application and election. Representation is by geographical district.
    • Fall Forum - The Fall Forum is the annual meeting of the Wisconsin 4-H Adult Leader Council and the Wisconsin 4-H Youth Leader Council (YLC). The meeting includes informational, educational, business, and networking agenda items. Each county is represented on ALC by an adult volunteer leader. In addition a youth representative from each county is invited to Fall Forum. As part of the business meeting, the ALC elects the Executive Board. YLC holds their elections and business meeting.

  • Club Officers - Special leadership opportunities within 4-H Community Club Central.
  • State 4-H Youth Groups - Assume an arts or communication leadership role.
  • Youth Volunteers - Opportunities for young leaders in local 4-H programs. In Wisconsin, youth volunteers are governed by Wisconsin Child Labor Laws.
  • Youth in Governance - Youth and adults working together in positions of authority to make decisions and take action to strengthen organizations, communities, and our democratic society.
