Self Initiated Performance Review (SIPR) Review

For Department Heads

For department heads, feedback is important for both the educator component of your work and the managerial-leadership responsibilities. The same information gathering process can be used for department heads’ 360° feedback to identify strengths and areas for growth.

Question content for this area focuses on the leadership role for the department head and may be selected from the following list of responsibilities and who could provide feedback. Not all the topic areas need to be covered every year. Determining what to ask may depend on what emphasis the department head was working on during a year or where he/she wants to strengthen skills. The most beneficial information can be gained from those who have experience working with the department head in these areas.
