The worms are found about 1 1/2 inches below the surface in an area about 2' wide. Sounds like they work an area about 8' long. The ground where they are found is raised upand cracked. looking uder the stereoscope they have no real legs but have what appear to be numerous pointed appendages. I would look at the possiblilty of something buried that they are now working on. White "fuzzy" looking appearance on undersides of leaves. There is an almost clear nymph seen under the microscope with 2 dark spots on tail end. The location of the nymph is in an area where the white fuzzy patch has turned bright pink. Is it all related?
