In 2008, Heather Hilleren launched GreenLeaf Market to connect local farmers and food processors with restaurants, institutions and grocers and made buying and selling local food easier than ever before.
This winter, with feedback from buyers and sellers, Heather and her technical team developed a new and improved tool that will re-launch in May 2009 as Local Dirt.
Anyone who registers before May 1st will receive free membership for one year.
After May 1st, Local Dirt membership will cost $240 annually.
