Introduction To Photo Archive

The following photos have been organized by categories found in the First Impressions program. They are intended for educational use (non-commercial) by Extension Educators in the State of Wisconsin. If you would like to use any of the photos for any other purpose, please send your specific request to: ablewis@facstaff.wisc.edu

This resource is a "work in progress" and I would certainly appreciate additional photo submissions. This resource is focused on providing images from Wisconsin that would be helpful in making presentations on a variety of community development topics (including First Impressions). I hope that you will join me in adding additional images and categories to this web site.

This collection of photos is intended to include more then just the beautiful images of communities. If there appears to be a disproportionate number of photo's that are either positive, or negative within a specific community, that was certainly not intentional.

If you would like to add some of your own photos to this effort, I would prefer digital versions of the photo (I would suggest 4" x 6", 300 d.p.i.). If you don't have access to a scanner, you can also mail print photos to:
Andy Lewis
Center for Community Economic Development
610 Langdon Street, Room 334
Madison, Wisconsin 53703-1104
Please include as much information as you can about the photo (your name, where it was taken, approx. date, what you think the photo captures). You will be credited for the photos that you submit.

For a much larger collection of Wisconsin Photo's, see the U.W. Madison Photo Library
