1999 UW Winter Wheat Variety Performance Results

Yields were certainly better than prices for the winter wheat crop in 1999. Growers are encouraged to study the trial results and make selections based upon multi-location and multi-year performance. Don't plant large acreages to varieties with only one year of performance data. It's also recommended to plant certified seed. Planting certified seed will insure you of a seed lot that has been properly cleaned, conditioned, and germination tested.
