Ag Land Sales for Fond du Lac County

Wisconsin Ag Statistics reports that land values in Fond du Lac County averaged $2137 in 2002 for agricultural land with no buildings or improvements and sold for continued agricultural use.  This represents a 20 percent increase over 2001 values and continues the trend toward rapidly increasing land values in recent years.  In the past five years, the average price paid for land has nearly doubled.  For land with buildings and improvements, the average price paid was $2919 per acre.
