The price paid for agricultural land continued its upward ascent in 2003.  The average price paid for agricultural land without buildings in Fond du Lac County was $2238 per acre.  The increase of about $100 per acre over the previous year was the smallest annual increase since 1998-1999.  For land with buildings and other improvements, the average price paid in 2003 was $3655 per acre.  This was an increase of $736 per acre over 2002.
