Wisconsin to Host 1998 Tri-
  State Hay Expo on July 1st




 The Wisconsin Forage Council is joining with the University of Wisconsin to host the Tri-State Hay Expo at the UW Arlington Research Station on July 1st.  This is the first time the show has been held in Wisconsin and from 3000 to 5000 people are expected to attend.  The show will start at 8:30 am and continue until 4:30 pm.  There will be field demonstrations of hay making equipment, including mowing, chopping, raking and baling.  Commercial exhibits will showcase a variety of exhibits and displays relating to forage production.   There will be five 1-hour tours of University research plots to show the latest research developments and answer questions on forage production and use.  The tours are:
 

1) What's New with Forages?

More milage from corn silage:  management options.
