During 2004 and 2005 Iowa and Indiana volunteers tested six methods for monitoring E. coli. Assessing their results as compared to laboratory results and user preference surveys allowed us to choose two test methods to be utilized in Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin during 2005 and 2006.
