4-H Literature

When club members enroll in 4-H projects, they have the option of requesting 4-H literature. In an effort to minimize the cost to 4-H clubs, families and members, we strongly recommend that 4-H project literature be shared between club members.

When literature is requested by a member, parents and leaders should review the request before it is submitted to the UW-Extension Office for processing. Normally, all 4-H literature (except for backordered items) is provided to the 4-H Club Leaders late January or early February.

According to policy set by the Buffalo County Leaders' Association (August 2002), once literature has been received by the club leader, members will have 30 days to reivew the literature and make any returns to the Extension Office. After 30 days, no returns will be acdepted and the club will be responsible for the cost.
