  • Clover 4-H Club currently has 8 certified adult leaders and 24 4-H members from 12 different families.
  • The club is made up of youth from mixed ages, with the highest number of youth in age groups 6 - 9 and 15-18 years.

Clover 4-H Club first started in the Pragg area in the 1950's. The club grew so large that in 2003, some members decided to split off and form a separate 4-H club (Mill Creek).

Clover 4-H Club members see themselves as being open to all age groups. They support each other and work together as a team.

The Clover 4-H Club participates in a variety of social and recreational activities including:

  • Dodge ball tournaments
  • Kickball tournaments
  • Ice cream eating contest
  • World Cafe events
  • Planned club activities such as swimming, etc.

Throughout the year, the Clover 4-H Club does several community projects such as:

  • Fruit baskets at Christmas
  • Flower boxes
  • Fleece Blankets
  • Pony Rides
  • Dairy Breakfast
  • Volunteer Work

For educational emphasis, the Clover 4-H Club has a demonstration every meeting highlighting different topics. Clover members also make club billboards, window displays and float designs for parades to promote the 4-H program.

The Clover club welcomes and encourages new members. 4-H provides a great opportunity to expand your creativity, skills and potential.

Each year, the Clover 4-H Club members join in the fundraising activities that are selected by the 4-H Leaders’ Association.  The proceeds from these fundraisers are used to pay for County-wide 4-H programming and to assist with the cost of 4-H trips for members 7th grade on up. There are currently two main fundraising activities each year:

  1. Watkins Products in the fall
  2. Club’s Choice food products in the spring/summer

Quote from a Clover 4-H club member ~

“Clover is a club of all ages and we have lots of fun.”
