- Hill & Hollow 4-H Club currently has 4 certified adult leaders and 23 4-H members from 14 different families.
- The club is made up of middle-aged youth, with the highest number of youth in age groups 10 - 13 years.
Hill & Hollow 4-H Club first started in the 1930's and has served the Fountain City Area for over 75 years.
Hill & Hollow 4-H Club can help youth have fun and be a good citizen while learning new life skills! The Club is very active in the local community and has a great variety of diverse families and unique member interests.
The Hill & Hollow 4-H Club participates in a variety of social and educational activities including:

Softball teams
- Visits to Action City in Eau Claire
- YMCA
- Guest Speakers
- 4-H Demonstrations
- Biking
- Planned club activities such as swimming, bowling, etc.
Throughout the year, the Hill & Hollow 4-H Club does several community projects such as:
- Highway Cleanup
- Packages for Displaced Families
- Served Thanksgiving Dinner to Area Senior Citizens
- Played Bingo at Nursing Home
- Volunteer Work
For educational emphasis, the Hill & Hollow 4-H Club has a demonstration every meeting highlighting different topics. Clover members also make club billboards, window displays and float designs for parades to promote the 4-H program.
The Hill & Hollow club welcomes and encourages new members. 4-H provides a great opportunity to expand your creativity, skills and potential.
Each year, the Hill & Hollow 4-H Club members join in the fundraising activities that are selected by the 4-H Leaders’ Association. The proceeds from these fundraisers are used to pay for Countywide 4-H programming and to assist with the cost of 4-H trips for members 7th grade on up. There are currently two main fundraising activities each year:
- Printed and sold a 4-H Club Cookbook
- Candy Bar Sales
- Watkins Products in the fall
- Club’s Choice food products in the spring/summer
