Reality Check Financial Education Experience

Reality Check Reality Check

Did you know?

Between 1990 and 1999, there was a 51 percent increase in annual bankruptcy filings among adults 25 years of age and younger.  In 2001, more young adults filed for bankruptcy than graduated from college.

What is Reality Check?

Reality Check is an interactive, hands-on financial event that makes the connection between classroom learning about financial literacy and “real life” experiences. The event provides students insight into career selections and how such selections play a role in their financial futures. Reality Check is also an exciting experience that makes classroom learning relevant to the student through partnerships between UW-Extension, schools, businesses, and other community members.
