Biography:
Mike Kornmann has served as Burnett County's Community Development Agent since
2001. His interests and experience include many areas including economic development,
land use planning, leadership, organizational development, natural resources,
urban design, demographics, and geographic information
systems (GIS). He is a graduate of the Master Woodland Stewards program, holds
a Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia,
and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
Program Description:
University of Wisconsin - Extension programs in Community, Natural Resource
and Economic Development (CNRED) help Wisconsin communities deal with their
own unique challenges - resource constraints, business development, growth
management, environmental protection and the quality of life.
