Groundwater
Testing and Education
The Calumet County Community
Development Educator works in partnership with the county Land
and Water Conservation Department to provide educational programs
and assistance on groundwater issues. Results of a groundwater
testing program conducted in 2002 in Calumet County indicated
nearly half of all wells tested have high nitrate and/or bacteria
levels. For specific testing information, residents should visit
the County
Land and Water Conservation Department website or call them
at 920-465-2221.
