Major Projects: All different projects. Some sheep, horses, plants, drama, fishing, hunting.
Fundraisers: We sell wreaths in late October and early November.
Community Service Projects: We do a number of activities in the community. In December, we make Christmas cards and deliver them to a local elderly housing facility. In February, we go to the same place and play BINGO. In June, we hand out ice cream or cheese and sausage for June Dairy Month in town at the local drug store.
Events/Activities: The above events and bowling (bring a friend). We planted flower seeds in pots for Mother's Day. We worked in the Eat Stand at the Columbia County Fair. We went and supported the Wyocena Fire Dept. and went to the Haunted Hill for our October meeting.
Other Interesting Information: We have our first meeting of the year to discuss the new year's activities. The youth decide what they would like to do each month. We encourage family involvement. |
