  • Educational Meeting

  • Educational meetings will continue through April on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. during the winter months

Riding Practices - every Tuesday at the Crawford County fairgrounds at 6:30 p.m.

  • YOUNG RIDERS: The last 2 after-school meetings will be held on the 4th Wednesdays, March 25th & April 22nd, in Collen Dull's class, in the elementary wing at North Crawford. We will be reviewing previous material, and setting goals for the upcoming riding season. We will begin weekly mounted meetings as soon as the arena at the fairgounds is rideable-- probably late April. Young Riders must pass the Level 1 test before they can ride in the larger arena.

  • HORSE PROJECT: There will be 2 more regular horse project meetings held on the 4th Tuesday evenings, at 6:30 p.m., at the Daryl & Carolyn Aspenson home in Mt. Sterling. (March 24th & April 25th) The horse project members just finished studying the 3-part video series by Sylvia Loch on The Classical Seat. The March meeting will feature a horsemanship video by George Morris, the USEF Show Jumping Team, chef d'equipe, or team leader. We will also be setting goals for the upcoming season. In April, weather permitting, we will be using our new knowledge in evaluating all the riders' positions while working on the lunge line.
  • Anyone interested in educational meetings, weekly riding practices and participating on the Quadrille team, contact Rebekah Ghormley (608) 624-5767 or Ann Dennis (608) 872-2368, for more information.
