Dairy Modernization:
Low Cost Milking Parlors
Background:
Dairy producers are looking at alternatives to enable them to
modernize their operations. While a few brave ones have taken
the plunge to modernize in a big way with borrowed capital, many
more are looking at modernization in a more step wise, conservative
and less capital intensive manner. Historically, producers have
relied upon using existing buildings for modernization purposes.
This project builds on that time tested model by fabricating a
low cost milking parlor in to an existing structure.
