2009-10 Beef Weigh-In Dates
Green County 4-H & FFA youth interested in showing at the 2010 Green County Junior Fair Steer Show or WI State Fair MUST have their cattle weighed and identified on Saturday, December 12th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Equity Livestock on Hwy 69 south of Monroe. In case of inclement weather the snow date will be Saturday January 2nd . An announcement will be made over WEKZ radio by 8 a.m. on the morning of December 12th if the weigh-in would need to be rescheduled. Each exhibitor can identify a maximum of 5 steers for the county fair and will be required to fill out Country of Origin (COOL forms), that will require both the exhibitor and parents signature. This weigh-in will also be an opportunity for exhibitors to identify cattle for the 2010 WI State Fair. State fair exhibitors will be charged a $10 fee for each steer that is identified for state fair to cover the cost of DNA testing. |
