Local Banks Donate to Green County State Fair Dairy Youth
Mike Klassy, Bank of Monticello, hands Alissa Grenawalt, Green County 4-H & Youth Agent, a check from four community banks in Green County (The Bank of New Glarus & Sugar River Branches; Woodford State Bank; Bank of Monticello; and Bank of Brodhead) to be used for dairy expenses associated with the Wisconsin State Fair. Along with Mike & Alissa, are two of the lead Green County Dairy Herdsman - Jesse Dorn (New Glarus 4-H) and Kristen Smith (Washington Center 4-H). Funds such as these help to offset rising costs with transporting animals and supplies, as well as purchasing necessary equipment. Thank you to the banks for this great donation! |
