To provide an educational program where individuals practice leadership skills, deepen their understanding of community issues and prepare for leadership roles, thereby creating a network of individuals committed to the future of Green County.

- Pre-requisites.
- Read Chapter 5, 6, and 7 in "The Framework of Your Wisconsin Government" ( you will be given copies of this publication at the October session)
- Attend a public hearing or other local government meeting. Observe what decisions are being made. How do these decisions relate to community needs/issues? Observe the interactions among the elected officials. How is leadership expressed during the meeting? Use the attached worksheet for summarizing your meeting attendance. - Determine if and how community needs/challenges identified during the cafe' are being addressed and identify which needs you have a passion for. (more guidance to come)
