ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Organizational development educational programs are focused on strengthening the capacity of non-profit and community organizations to address community needs. Contact CRD Educator Sarah Burgert for more information.

Strategic Planning

Using the Bryson Model, strategic planning assistance through the Green County UW-Extension office is a blend of education and facilitation. We work with non-profit and community organizations to tailor a planning process that meets their needs and helps them to identify issues of strategic importance that are addressed via participatory development in action plans. Organizations that have worked with Green County UW-Extension on strategic planning include:

  • Monroe Public Library
  • Green County Tourism
  • Green County Development Corporation
  • Literacy Council of Green County (currently underway)

Evaluating Outcomes

"Are your programs making a difference for Green County, individuals, families, and/or communities? Learn how to evaluate outcomes, use evaluation in funding proposals, and communicate program outcomes." Offered most recently in 2006-2007, this program can be tailored for your organizational needs. Check out the last program brochure and program details, or contact the Extension office at 608-328-9441.
