-Applicant must have a current grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
-Applicant must meet other eligibility requirements specific to individual scholarships.

-Applicants must be a graduating high school senior who has been accepted into an agriculture or ag-related curriculum at a two-or four-year Wisconsin school or shortcourse program..

-Applicants must be pursuing their interest and studies in an ag-related field.

-Applicants must live or attend school within the 33 Wisconsin counties served by Badgerland Farm Credit Services. (See application for more details, however, Green, Dane, Rock, & Lafayette are covered)

word Wisconsin Cattlemen's Association Scholarship

-Applicants must be a graduating high school senior enrolled or planning to enroll in any university, technical college, community college in the United States, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Agricultural Short Course Program.
-Must have a background in beef, veal, or dairy industry.
-Must be a resident of Wisconsin
-Preference will be given to those majoring in an agriculture-related field.

-Ten $500 Scholarships will be awarded to top applicants.

word HCE Scholarship

-Graduate of a Green County High School or a jGreen County resident, or a relative of a Green County HCE member

-Written letter stating personal goals shall accompany application.

March 31

-The Green County Ag Chest will award up to eleven $300 scholarships to applicants who are Seniors in High School and have enrolled in either a 4-year college or vocation school.
-To be eligible for one of these scholarships, the applicant must reside in a Green County Ag Chest participating community.
-All majors of study will be considered, but preference may be given to majors in related agriculture fields.

PDF Logo 2009 Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion

-Applicants will enroll in or must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a two-or four-year Wisconsin school or shortcourse program and be pursuing a dairy-related or food science degree.

-Applicants will be evaluated on involvement and leadership in ag-related activities, scholastic achievement, and career plans.

-Interviews will be scheduled with each finalist, with the scholarship recipients to be announced at the 2008 Wisconsin State Fair. Recipients are required to attend the scholarship presentation(s) which will take place on Thursday, July 31, during the Governor's Blue Ribbon Cheese & Butter Auction and on Saturday, August 2, in conjunction with the Wisconsin State Fair Junior Dairy Show.

-Active Member of 4-H or FFA

-Senior in high school or enrolled in post-secondary education of no more than ONE year past high school graduation

wordGreen County Adult /Junior Leaders

4-H Scholarship

-Applicants must have been enrolled in 4-H for at least three (3) years.

-Applicants must also have been active in the Junior Leaders Organization for at least one (1) year.

-Students graduating from High School and/or graduating from 4-H.   (The later could be a 19-year-old 4-H member who has already completed 1 year of college.)

word Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship

-Two $1,250 scholarships will be awarded, one each to the highest ranking boy and highest ranking girl winners from a member town or village whoe municipality has Rural Mutual Insurance Company coverage for their government as of May 1, 2009.

-Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one each to two boys and two girls.

-One $1,000 scholarship to either a boy or a girl who has the highest ranking below the previous four scholarships.
-Applicants must write an essay between 500 and 1000 words on the following topic: "What should the role of town officials be in sustaining "working lands" in Wisconsin?"

word 2009 Wisconsin State Fair Governor's Blue Ribbon Auction Livestock Scholarship

-Applicants must be between the ages of 17-19 as of January 1st of the current year.

-Applicants must be a current or past junior livestock exhibitor who has exhibited beef, sheep, or swine, at the Wisconsin State Fair.

-Applicants must pursue a post high school education, and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a University, Vocational/Technical School or University short course.

word Beef Producers Scholarship

-Green County 4-H or FFA member, or resident

-Attending or planning to attend an institution of higher learning

-Selection will be based on your involvement with the beef industry and service to the Green County Beef Producers organization.

 July 1

PDF Logo Myron Jeglum Memorial and Green County Ag Chest Scholarship

-The Myron Jegulum Memorial and Green County Agricultural Chest Scholarship of $200 will be awarded to an applicant who has completed one year of college and is enrolled in college for the fall semester.
-To be eligible for one of these scholarships, the applicant must reside in a Green County Ag Chest participating community and attend college in pursuit of an education in one of the following fields: Agriculture, Foods, Nutrition, or Health.
