Green
Lake County Home and Community Education Association (Green Lake
County HCE) is an educational, non-profit organization. The organization's
name has evolved since being started in Green Lake County. It
started out as Home Demonstration clubs, Extension Homemakers
Organization, Association for Family and Community Education (FCE)
and Association for Home and Community Education Association (HCE)
is the current organization title.
The mission statement of the Wisconsin Association for
Home and Community Education is: An open membership, working
together, welcoming ways that include: a desire to learn, the
improvement of ourselves and the quality of life within our society
through volunteerism, education and leadership.
- Offer educational opportunities
- Improve leadership skills of members
- Provide service to communities
Green Lake County HCE is a member of the Wisconsin Association
for Home and Community Education Association.
HCE members can improve their leadership skills by becoming
educational/project leaders and officers in their individual
clubs, county, district and state organizations. Members have
the opportunity to get to know their fellow HCE members, form
and renew friendships and to enjoy the social aspects of getting
together to learn from each other.

in learning more about membership in Green Lake County HCE can
contact the Green Lake County UW-Extension office at 294-4032
to gain information about individual or club membership. Membership
dues are $12.00 for club members and $15.00 for individual members.
