Check back in early fall for dates on 2008 Iowa County Nutrient Management Planning Farmer Training Classes!
We will again offer a farmer nutrient management planning class here in Iowa County during early winter 2008. Check back this fall or call our office for the training dates. The class is divided into 2 afternoon sessions and will cover the basics of nutrient management and developing your own farm plan. Class usually begins at 12:30 and will end by 3:30 p.m. each day. Our Area Nutrient & Pest Management Specialist, Kevin Shelley and I will teach the course with assistance from Iowa County NRCS District Conservationist Andy Walsh. There is no charge to participate, but please contact Rhonda at the Extension Office (935-0391) if you plan to attend so we can put together enough farmer information packets!
