Tractor certification 2010 will be taking place in February and March, 2010. Youth must be 11 years old on January 1, 1010 to participate in the class. The state certificate will be issued at 12 years of age, the federal certificate at 14 years of age. The tractor certification program is offered annually through UW-Extension Jefferson County office. The class will be on Saturday mornings, 8 a.m. until noon on February 7, 14 & 21, March 7, & 14. The Tractor Driving Exercise will be held April 14, noon until 4 p.m. The charge is $15 per application and registration deadline is February 2, 2009.
