SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED ARE:

4-H Leader's Association (Due in April)


The Jefferson County 4-H Leaders Association since 1985-1986 has provided funding for the Jefferson County 4-H Scholarship to outstanding Jefferson County 4-H youth. We are pleased to provide this scholarship in order to show our appreciation for your accomplishments as a result of your 4-H experiences and to support your future educational goals.

Scholarship to be awarded:

  • Scholarships are awarded to 4-H members pursuing a four-year college degree or pursuing a tech-school or non four-year degree.
  • This is a $500 scholarship with up to a maximum of six scholarships to be offered

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a present Jefferson County 4-H member.
  • Has been a 4-H member for the last four consecutive years.
  • Be a high school senior or graduate and enrolled in 4-H the year they are filing this application.
  • Planning to enter a post high school college or degree program or may already be in attendance.
  • You may only receive this scholarship one time.

 

Jefferson County Dairy Breakfast (Due in April)

 

Thank you for your interest in applying for a Jefferson County Dairy Breakfast Scholarship or Grant.  The Dairy Breakfast Fund was re-established in 2003 to provide support for Jefferson County Youth Education and Dairy Industry Programs.  The profit earned from the Dairy Breakfast will be used to fund innovative and educational programs that support:

  • Youth (educational teams, educational projects, scholarships)
  • Agricultural Grant programs (educational, research or other)
  • Fair Park Improvements that support youth exhibitors

The Dairy Breakfast Committee invites grant and scholarship applications from 4-H and FFA members to support their educational goals.  All youth grant and scholarship applicants must be from youth who are active in Jefferson County 4-H, FFA or Breed Organizations or from youth who reside in Jefferson County.

Agricultural producers from Jefferson County may apply for grants to help fund educational seminars, conventions and other programs that they are attending or participating in.  Grant proposals will also be considered from the Jefferson County Fair Park committee that supports youth exhibitors.


 

Jefferson County Agri-Business (Due in April)

  • Applicant’s Qualifications.
  • High School senior planning to attend a 2 or 4-year College or the UW Farm and Industry Short Course.
  • Majoring in an agricultural or ag-related program.

      Or

    • College student currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year agricultural program or the UW Farm and Industry Short Courses and planning to continue enrollment in an agricultural program next year.
