How should I report these incidents?
- Call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Give your name and address.
- Briefly describe the suspect: sex and race, age, height,
weight, hair color, clothing, distinctive characteristics such
as a beard, tattoo, mustache, scars, or accent.
- Describe the vehicle if one was involved: color, make, model,
year, license plate, and special features such as stickers.
You can choose to call in anonymously or tell the dispatcher
that you want to meet with the officer that is being sent. If
you do not feel comfortable doing that at your own house, arrange
to meet the officer somewhere nearby.
