NR-151 Workshop -- Developing a Nutrient Management Plan for Turfgrass
On March 10, 2008, turfgrass areas over 5 acres in Wisconsin, which are commerically maintained, must be fertilized
according to a nutrient management plan.
Various fertilization guidelines exist for areas
depending on factors such as amount of use,
soil type, topography, and spatial relation to
surface and groundwater resources. This
workshop will help you obtain the required
information and assist you in developing a
nutrient management plan for your site. The
workshops offered below will cover the same
material as those offered in 2007.
We will be offering two workshops in Kenosha County. Click here for registration and more information. The workshop is only for commerical horticulture professionals. (It is NOT for homeowners.) The dates are:
- March 13, half day session in the afternoon at the Kenosha County UW-Extension office, Bristol
- March 14, full day session at Gateway Technical College
