How we identified priorities
for Lafayette County
We interviewed all county
department heads and asked what resources are available and what
they felt they (or the community) needed from extension. We then
sent out a survey to community leaders (church clergy, schools,
civic, etc.) and asked them to identify what programming was important
to them. We also targeted non-users of extension to get their
input. As a team, the extension professionals examined and studied
the county profile and targeted as diverse of an audience that
they could.
