is "yes" according to recent studies of the DASH Diet,
or Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension. According to Susan
Nitzke, University of Wisconsin-Madison/Extension nutrition
specialist, the DASH study decreased blood pressure in people
with and without hypertension, and blood pressure was kept low
with continued use of the diet.
