Marathon County 4-H Horsemasters Mandatory Meeting
Saturday, April 5th, 2008, 10:00am, at the VanDerGeest Arena. Educational Topics: Equine Dentistry -- Dr. Mike Graper, DVM, Trailering Safety -- Patti Graper. Other topics include: Fair Q&A session, Pick-up Fair packets. Lunch will be available on grounds. Please bring your own lawn chairs. For more information please call (715) 675-7016.

****If you were not able to attend the above meetings, you may pick your Fair horse forms at the UW-Extension Office at 212 River Drive Wausau. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm***.

April 8 - Horsemaster's Meeting: 7:00 p.m. at 212 River Drive. The meeting will cover fair forms, fashion and what you need to know to be prepared for the WI Valley Fair.

April 12 - Maine 4-H Horse Program will have a food Stand at Marathon Town and Country. There will be demonstrations and deals all day.

April 17 - Horse Bowl Practice: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Stewart Avenue Hardees

April 24 - Horse Bowl Practice: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Stewart Avenue Hardees

April 27 - 4-H Advanced Barrel Clinic at Chisms. Please contact Angie Huckbody for mor information.

May 1 - Horse Bowl Practice: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Stewart Avenue Hardees

May 3-4 — 4-H Showmanship/Horsemanship/Equitation Clinic in Custer, WI (1 page, 23 KB)
Wisconsin 4-H Horse Association approved clinic. Youth and Adult Auditors Welcome. Clinic limited to 45 horse/rider combinations. Must bring own tack, shavings, feed, water buckets, etc. All riders MUST be pre-registered by April 20th, 2008.

May 8 - Horse Bowl Practice: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Stewart Avenue Hardees

May 10 - WI State Horse Bowl

May 13 - Horsemasters will meet at Victory Lanes for a driving demo put on by Liz Bulla

May 15 - Fair Forms due

May 18 - Beginner Horse/Horseless Horse Clinic at Blue Haven. Starts at 1:00 p.m.

May 31 - Marathon County Mud Bog Show
