WISCONSIN RIVER GRAZIERS NETWORK
Lincoln, Langlade,
and Marathon Counties - The network's goal is
to promote the feasibility of grazing as a profitable way of farming
that enhances lifestyles and protects and improves the environment.
The network offers monthly pasture walks, winter meetings, annual
winter conferences, one-to-one technical assistance and consulting,
and education to farmers, bankers, and agricultural professionals.
Project Report, 1998-2008
The Marathon and Lincoln County Management Intensive Grazing Project Report, 1998-2008 has been published by the Marathon County Land Conservation and Zoning Committee. Led by Grazing Technician, Paul Daigle, this project has had tremendous local impact and has included participation from several agencies and organizations.
