City of Wausau
For city of Wausau residents only. Will take any yard waste - leaves, grass, pine needles, garden and flower debris, tree branches and brush (tree stumps and root balls are not permitted at the yard waste site - stumps and root balls under 60 lbs. can be placed at the curb with your normal garbage). Can pick up mulch, leaves (no soil or rocks). For more information call (715) 261-6500.
- Location: 105 East Chellis Street (east end of East Chellis Street); south of Rose Garden.
MAP - Open March 30 through November 15.

- Closed Thursdays. Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day
Kronenwetter
The following items are allowed: grass clippings, leaves, pine needles and tree branches (six inches or less). Tree stumps and painted or treated wood is not allowed. The Marathon County Landfill, in Ringle accepts painted and treated wood.

- Wednesday 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. through September 26
- Saturday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. through October 27
Rib Mountain
Will take leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, brush. Can pick up soil, mulch, leaves. For more information call (715) 842-0983.
- Location: 7100 Red Bud Road, Wausau (Hwy N to Red Bud, turn left – follow signs)
- Open April 15 to mid-November.

- Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sundays from April 15 through May 20, 3 pm to dusk;
- Sundays from October 7 to November 15, 3 p.m. to dusk
Schofield
- Location: On Drott Street near Eau Claire River Flowage dam.
- Days
- Weekdays: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Closed Sunday
Weston
Spring roadside pick-up is normally scheduled in May. Call the Municipal Center at 359-6114 for exact dates. Residents may have unbagged thatch, leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, and brush less than six (6) inches in diameter, curbside and away from mailboxes and power poles by 7 a.m. on the day of regular refuse pickup. Brush needs to be parallel to the road and separated from the rest of the yard waste.
After roadside collection dates, these materials can still be brought to the Village yard waste site behind the Municipal Center at 5500 Schofield Avenue. Please remove leaves from bags and dispose of bags in the provided containers.
