NUTRITION EDUCATION PROGRAM MISSION
The goal of the Wisconsin
Nutrition Education Program of Marathon County is to work in partnership
with others to provide nutrition education to limited-income individuals
that empower them to make healthy choices that are consistent
with the food guide pyramid.
Program Outcome

Program staff will
build and enhance local systems that support community-based
nutrition education programs for the food stamp-eligible population.

Participants will
choose and prepare nutritious meals and snacks.

Participants will
increase their use of safe food handling practices.
- Participants will
manage their money and other resources to improve their food
security.
